7. Data Processing Agreement
This agreement applies to every merchant who connects a store (Shopify, Tienda Nube, WooCommerce or Odoo) to Worker Brain, and is accepted by installing the app or connecting the store.
- Roles. The merchant is the controller of its customers' personal data. Worker acts as processor and only processes that data to provide the service and following the merchant's instructions.
- Data and purpose. Worker keeps only the customer ID, email address, billing province and country, and order dates and totals, to report sales, repeat purchases, lifetime value and marketing attribution to the merchant. Worker does not keep names, phone numbers, street addresses or payment details.
- Confidentiality. Only Worker staff assigned to the merchant's account can access the data, under a duty of confidentiality. Access to individual customer records is logged.
- Sub-processors. Google Cloud (storage) and Vercel (processing), with encryption in transit and at rest. Worker does not sell or share the data and does not use it to train AI models.
- Security incidents. Worker will notify the merchant of any security incident affecting its data within 72 hours of detecting it.
- Data subject requests. Worker will help the merchant answer customers' access or deletion requests within 30 days.
- Termination. When the store is disconnected or the service ends, Worker deletes the customers' personal data within 30 days. Aggregated reports that do not identify individuals may be kept.
